Situated in the heart of the beautiful Kawartha Lakes district of central Ontario, we are less than two hours driving time from Toronto and only 3 hours from the Niagara Region.  We're conveniently located right on Highway 35 North, between Fenelon Falls and Coboconk, close to great golf, fabulous fishing and beautiful lakes and scenery.  With our peaceful country setting on almost 7 acres of land, you can enjoy the sound of birds singing while you sit out on your covered patio deck at the back of your room.

We have a total of 9 guest rooms; 3 large rooms with two double beds each, 1 large room with a queen and a double bed, 4 smaller rooms with one queen-size bed each, and one smaller room with two twin beds.  Easy free parking - right at your door - no stairs to climb.  Our reasonable rates make your getaway affordable, and during our busy season, a deluxe continental breakfast is included with your room rate!   We offer hot and cold cereal, toast, bagels, granola bars, fruit, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate & a selection of teas.  For a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, that's a daily savings of $20.00 or more!

WE ALSO OFFER EXTREMELY REASONABLE WEEKLY RATES!  Services are limited with the weekly rate [i.e. no daily breakfast or daily housekeeping].  Your room will be cleaned and linens changed once only, half-way through your stay.  This way we can keep the cost to you as low as possible, and can make a week's vacation "up north" very affordable. 

OUR ROOMS ARE ALL NON-SMOKING!   SMOKING AREAS WITH TABLES AND CHAIRS ARE PROVIDED JUST OUTSIDE THE PATIO DOORS AT THE BACK OF EACH ROOM, ON THE COVERED DECK.

Failure to respect our non-smoking policy may result in an additional cleaning charge to your credit card.

Three of our large rooms feature a completely equipped kitchenette, with 2-burner cooktop, separate dishwashing sink, dishes, cutlery and utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster and kettle.  Barbeques are also available for our guests' use.  All rooms have a fridge and a microwave.

Free wireless internet access!  We do have a secured wireless network installed. Access to our network is obtainable in most of the rooms.  Please ask about this free service when checking in.

The water here at the Stone Fountain Motel comes from our own spring-fed well, and is UV sterilized, filtered and softened.  We test monthly and our water is so pure, that you could bring a jug to take some home.  No chlorine, just delicious, clean, spring-fed water right from the tap.  Why pay for bottled water?

PETS WELCOME!  We have several "pet-friendly" rooms - please ask when making your reservation if one is available.  We encourage you to bring your four-legged family members along with you.  A nominal surcharge of $8.00 plus tax is applicable to having your pet stay in the room with you.  All pets must be registered on check-in.  A few common sense rules apply - Pets may not be left unattended in the room [unless in a crate or carrier] - pets are not allowed on the beds or other furniture, you must clean up after your pet [plastic bags can be provided] and all pets must remain leashed when outside your room. We have a very large backyard, and you're welcome to take advantage of the walking path to give you both some exercise!
